Clicking will open the list in a new browser tab.

Covid-19: In March 2020 the Hull Natural History Society decided to suspend indoor meetings and field trips until further notice.

However since July 4th gatherings of up to six people outdoors have been permitted, as long as social distancing guidelines are followed. The introduction of the “Rule of Six” on September 14th has not changed this. We therefore recommenced our programme of field meetings, subject to the condition that if more than six people wish to attend, we will split into separate groups of a maximum of six people. There will still be a small risk of infection and so you must decide, based on your personal circumstances, whether you come to the meeting. There is further guidance in our Covid notice, which can be downloaded from the Documents section of the home page.

The announcement of new national restrictions commencing on 5th November means that meetings will again have to be suspended from that date for at least four weeks.

Beverley Beck

Unbranched Bur-reed A well-attended meeting produced a long plant list but not much in the way of birds. Unbranched Bur-reed was in flower in a side-arm of the Beck.
