The Plants of Hull survey 2015 - 2017

The idea of a "Millennium Audit" of the vegetation of the Hull area was conceived in the spring of 1998 as a way in which the Hull Natural History Society could make a useful and lasting contribution to the region. 119 kilometre squares were surveyed to created a snapshot of the flora of this rapidly changing city.

In 2015 it was decided to repeat the process to see whether there had been any detectable changes. This page provides access to the data collected in both surveys and can be used to view the distribution of over 600 species of plant.
